FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
The VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) performs fail-safe control according to the chart below when a malfunction occurs in the VGRS system.

| C15A1 | Short in Motor Circuit | Control is not started or stops |
| C15A2 | Open in Motor Circuit | Control is not started or stops |
