DESCRIPTION

The VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) first checks the actuator angle neutral point calibration flag after entering test mode. If the ECU detects that steering actuator angle neutral point calibration is incomplete twice, it stores DTC C1592.

Note:

When replacing the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) or steering actuator assembly, perform actuator angle neutral point calibration and initialization after replacing parts.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      1. Chassis > VGRS > Clear DTCs

  2. Click here

    PERFORM VGRS SYSTEM CALIBRATION


    1. Perform VGRS system calibration.

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs.

      Note:

      If DTC C1592 is output even though the VGRS system calibration has been performed, confirm the procedure again, and perform VGRS system calibration 3 times or more.
