PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DISCONNECT REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG

  4. REMOVE REAR DISC LH

  5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN TENSION SPRING (for Rear Side)

      Using SST, remove the parking brake shoe return tension spring.

  6. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN TENSION SPRING (for Front Side)

      Using SST, remove the parking brake shoe return tension spring.

  7. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING SCREW SET

      Slide the parking brake shoe and remove the parking brake shoe adjusting screw set.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY LH

      Using SST, remove the parking brake shoe hold down spring cup, parking brake shoe hold down compression spring and parking brake shoe hold down spring pin.

    2. Remove the No. 2 parking brake shoe assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE SHOE ASSEMBLY LH

      Using SST, remove the parking brake shoe hold down spring cup, parking brake shoe hold down compression spring and parking brake shoe hold down spring pin.

    2. Remove the No. 1 parking brake shoe assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Slide the parking brake shoe lever sub-assembly LH.

      Separate the parking brake cable to remove the parking brake shoe lever sub-assembly LH.

  11. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE

      Remove the nut and disconnect the parking brake actuator assembly with bracket.

  12. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE ANCHOR BLOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

      Remove the 2 nuts, cable support bracket and parking brake anchor block sub-assembly.
