  1. INSPECT BRAKE HOLD SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Brake Hold Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3(+B) - 4(E) Switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      Switch not pushed 50 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the brake hold switch.

      Component without harness connected

      (Brake Hold Switch)

      Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 2(ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 5(ILL-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the brake hold switch.
