  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. DISPOSE OF HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY LH

    Note

    Be sure to perform work with the piston rod pulled out to the fullest extent.


    1. Secure the hood support assembly LH in a vise with the piston rod extended.

      Using a hacksaw, cut between A and B shown in the illustration to discharge gas.

      A-B 90 mm (3.543 in.)

      CAUTION:

      Always use proper safety equipment and be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about.
