DOOR CLOSER SYSTEM Rear Door Closer RH does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The rear right side door closer controls the rear multiplex network door ECU RH, and operates the door closer motor based on the switch signals in the rear door lock assembly RH.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the K7 rear multiplex network door ECU RH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K7-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH - REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the K6 rear multiplex network door ECU RH connector.

    2. Disconnect the K14 rear door lock assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K6-1 (A2+) - K14-1 (CLM+) Always Below 1 Ω
      K6-2 (A2-) - K14-5 (CLM-) Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Disconnect the K14 rear door lock assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
