POWER WINDOW SWITCH(for Rear Door) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition J5-2 (UP) - J5-5 (GND) UP(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J5-10 (DOWN) - J5-5 (GND) DOWN(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J5-2 (UP) - J5-5 (GND) J5-4 (AUTO) - J5-5 (GND) UP(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J5-10 (DOWN) - J5-5 (GND) J5-4 (AUTO) - J5-5 (GND) DOWN(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check the illumination.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition J5-8 (LED) - Auxiliary battery positive (+) J5-5 (GND) - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

   INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition J1-2 (UP) - J1-5 (GND) UP(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J1-10 (DOWN) - J1-5 (GND) DOWN(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J1-2 (UP) - J1-5 (GND) J1-4 (AUTO) - J1-5 (GND) UP(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher J1-10 (DOWN) - J1-5 (GND) J1-4 (AUTO) - J1-5 (GND) DOWN(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check the illumination.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition J1-8 (LED) - Auxiliary battery positive (+) J1-5 (GND) - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
