    INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Inspect the power window regulator switch assembly.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        I1-2 (UP) - I1-5 (GND) UP(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
        I1-10 (DOWN) - I1-5 (GND) DOWN(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        I1-2 (UP) - I1-5 (GND)

        I1-4 (AUTO) - I1-5 (GND)

        		 UP(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        I1-10 (DOWN) - I1-5 (GND)

        I1-4 (AUTO) - I1-5 (GND)

        		 DOWN(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check the illumination.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

        OK
        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        I1-1 (ILL+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

        I1-6 (ILL-) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

        		 Illuminates
        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.
