POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Rear Power Window LH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH

DESCRIPTION

When the power switch is on (IG), the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH. The rear power window regulator motor assembly LH has motor, regulator and ECU functions.

  • The power window control system uses the LIN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (RL-DOOR MOTOR)


    1. Using the GTS, read the data for the condition when the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH was operated.

    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the J5 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the K15 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-2 (UP) - K15-10 (UP) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-10 (DOWN) - K15-7 (DOWN) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-2 (UP) or K15-10 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J5-10 (DOWN) or K15-7 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
