REAR SUNSHADE SWITCH(for Console Box) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (REAR SHADE SWITCH) (for LHD)


    1. Remove the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch).

      *1 Rear Shade Switch
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Rear Shade Switch))

      Check the resistance.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G72-3 (ECU) - G72-9 (GND) Rear Shade Switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Rear Shade Switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch)

    3. B004XX8C02
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Rear Shade Switch))

      Check illumination.

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the trip switch and check that it illuminates.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      G72-5 (ILL+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      G72-6 (ILL-) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch)

    4. Install the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch).

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (REAR SHADE SWITCH) (for RHD)


    1. Remove the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch).

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Rear Shade Switch))

      Check the resistance.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G72-2 (ECU) - G72-8 (GND) Rear Shade Switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Rear Shade Switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch)

    3. B004W3MC03
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Rear Shade Switch))

      Check illumination.

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the trip switch and check that it illuminates.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      G72-5 (ILL+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      G72-6 (ILL-) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch)

    4. Install the integration control and panel assembly (rear shade switch).
