    INSPECT REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Component without Harness Connected

      (Rear Curtain Sub-assembly LH)

      Inspect the rear curtain sub-assembly LH.

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain sub-assembly LH.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      K22-2(SSAB) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      K22-1(SSAE) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      Rear curtain sub-assembly LH raises

      K22-1(SSAE) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      K22-2(SSAB) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      Rear curtain sub-assembly LH lowers
      CAUTION:

      Be careful when the rear curtain sub-assembly LH raises and lowers. Something could get caught in the rear curtain sub-assembly LH and cause an injury.

      Tip:

      To prevent the motor from burning out, stop operation as soon as the rear curtain sub-assembly LH is fully raised or lowered.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear curtain sub-assembly LH.

      Inspect the rear curtain sub-assembly RH.

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain sub-assembly RH.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      K8-2(SSA+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      K8-1(SSA-) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      Rear curtain sub-assembly RH raises

      K8-1(SSA-) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      K8-2(SSA+) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      Rear curtain sub-assembly RH lowers
      CAUTION:

      Be careful when the rear curtain sub-assembly RH raises and lowers. Something could get caught in the rear curtain sub-assembly RH and cause an injury.

      Tip:

      To prevent the motor from burning out, stop operation as soon as the rear curtain sub-assembly RH is fully raised or lowered.
