REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

  1. CHECK BASIC OPERATION


    1. Start the hybrid control system.

    2. Move the shift lever to a position other than R.

    3. When the rear sunshade switch of the integration control and panel assembly is pressed with the rear sunshade lowered, check that a rear sunshade raise operation is performed.

    4. When the rear sunshade switch of the integration control and panel assembly is pressed with the rear sunshade raised, check that a rear sunshade lower operation is performed.

    5. When the rear sunshade switch of the rear power seat switch is pressed with the rear sunshade lowered, check that a rear sunshade raise operation is performed.

    6. When the rear sunshade switch of the rear power seat switch is pressed with the rear sunshade raised, check that a rear sunshade lower operation is performed.

  2. CHECK KEY OFF SWITCH OPERATION


    1. When the rear sunshade switch of the integration control and panel assembly or rear power seat switch is operated within approximately 60 seconds after turning the power switch from on (IG) to off, check that a rear sunshade raise or lower operation is performed. Also, after approximately 60 seconds have passed, check that operation of the rear sunshade is not possible.

    2. When the power switch is turned off while a rear sunshade raise or lower operation is in progress, check that the operation continues until the rear sunshade is fully raised or lowered.

  3. CHECK REVERSE LINKED OPERATION

    Note:

    This function operates when "R-pos to Rear Sun Shade COM" in the GTS customization settings is set to "ON". This setting is "ON" by default.

    1. Start the hybrid control system.

    2. Move the shift lever to P.

    3. When any of the following items are operated while the rear sunshade is fully raised or a raise operation is in progress, check that a rear sunshade lower operation is performed.


      • The rear sunshade switch of the integration control and panel assembly

      • The rear sunshade switch of the rear power seat switch

    4. When the shift lever is moved to P after a rear sunshade lower operation is in progress or the rear sunshade is fully lowered according to the reverse-linked function, check that a rear sunshade lower operation is performed again.

    5. When the shift lever is moved out of R and the vehicle is driven at approximately 15 km/h or more after a rear sunshade lower operation is in progress or the rear sunshade is fully lowered according to the reverse-linked function, check that a rear sunshade lower operation is performed again.
