REAR DOOR SUNSHADE SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK BASIC OPERATION

    Note

    Before performing an operation check, check that the rear door sunshade system customization is set to its initial setting.

    Tech Tips

    The rear curtain sub-assembly and rear side window curtain assembly (w/ Side Window Curtain) can be operated using the following switch operations, but the operation differs according to the window position.


    • Multiplex network master switch assembly

    • Rear power window regulator switch assembly LH or rear power window switch assembly RH

    • Rear power seat switch (w/ Rear Multi Operation Panel System)


    1. Operation using the multiplex network master switch assembly


      1. When the rear right or rear left seat remote switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated to the DOWN side with the power switch turned on (IG) and the window glass and rear door shade fully closed, check that only a rear door shade open operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      2. When the rear right or rear left seat remote switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated to the UP side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade open operation is in progress, check that a rear door shade close (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      3. When the rear right or rear left seat remote switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated to the UP side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully close and the rear door shade fully opened, check that only a rear door shade close operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      4. When the rear right or rear left seat remote switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated to the DOWN side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade close operation in progress, check that a rear door shade open (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

    2. Operation using the power window regulator switch assembly (rear right or rear left seat)


      1. When the power window regulator switch assembly (rear right or rear left seat) is operated to the DOWN side with the power switch turned on (IG) and the window glass and rear door shade fully closed, check that the rear door shade and window glass open operation is performed.

      2. When the power window regulator switch assembly (rear right or rear left seat) is operated to the DOWN side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade close operation is in progress, check that a rear door shade open (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      3. When the power window regulator switch assembly (rear right or rear left seat) is operated to the UP side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully close and the rear door shade fully opened, check that the rear door shade and window glass does not move.

      4. When the power window regulator switch assembly (rear right or rear left seat) is operated to the UP side with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade open operation is in progress, check that a rear door shade close (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

    3. Operation using the rear power seat switch (w/ Rear Multi Operation Panel System)


      1. When a touch operation is performed using the door shade switch of the rear power seat switch with the power switch turned on (IG) and the window glass and rear door shade fully closed, check that only a rear door shade open operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      2. When a touch operation is performed using the door shade switch of the rear power seat switch with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade open operation in progress, check that a rear door shade close (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      3. When a touch operation is performed using the door shade switch of the rear power seat switch with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and the rear door shade fully opened, check that only a rear door shade close operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

      4. When a touch operation is performed using the door shade switch of the rear power seat switch with the power switch turned on (IG), the window glass fully closed and a rear door shade close operation in progress, check that a rear door shade open (reverse) operation is performed and the window glass does not move.

  2. CHECK KEY-OFF OPERATION FUNCTION


    1. After the power switch is turned from on (IG) to off, the rear door sunshade can be operated for approximately 60 seconds.

    2. Check that no operations can be performed after approximately 60 seconds have elapsed since the power switch was turned from on (IG) to off.

    3. When the power switch is turned off while an open or close operation is in progress, check that the operation continues until the sunshade is fully open or closed.
