REFRIGERANT LINE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER PLATE

  2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

    Click here

  3. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  4. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  5. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE PIPING CLAMP

      *1 Liquid Tube Sub-assembly A
      *2 Cooler Refrigerant Liquid Pipe A

      Install SST to the piping clamp as shown in the illustration.

      *a Push in

      Hold the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and liquid tube sub-assembly A with each hand and push in SST with both thumbs.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A or liquid tube sub-assembly A as they may bend.

      *1 Cooler Refrigerant Liquid Pipe A
      *a Stopper
      *b Pull off

      Raise the stopper of SST and remove SST and the piping clamp together from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A and liquid tube sub-assembly A.

    4. Remove the piping clamp from SST.

    5. Remove the liquid tube sub-assembly A from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.

    6. Remove the 2 O-rings from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
