AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM A/C Switch Indicator does not Turn On

DESCRIPTION

The A/C switch indicator on multi-display turns off, the following malfunctions are possible.

Symptom Factor
The A/C switch indicator on multi-display turns off

  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly

  • Radio receiver assembly

  • A/C switch (multi-display)

  • Malfunction in one of the servo motors (initialization incomplete)

  • Damper and link operation (jamming)

  • Refrigerant pressure malfunction (low pressure)

  • Low ambient temperature (including thermistor assembly)

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK MALFUNCTION STATUS


    1. Check the malfunction status of A/C switch indicator on the multi-display.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (AMBIENT TEMP SENSOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      • When short circuit: 65.95°C (150.71°F)
