PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Door Control Switch)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        L16-4(CSW) - L16-1(E) Switch on Below 1 Ω
        L16-4(CSW) - L16-1(E) Switch off 10 kΩ or higher

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch .

    2. Inspect the illumination operation.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the door control switch connector, and check that the door control switch LED illuminates.

        OK
        Tester Connection Specified Condition

        L16-3 (ILL+) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

        L16-2(ILL-) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

        		 LED illuminates

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the door control switch .
