DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM(for Stereo Camera Type) Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the dynamic radar cruise control system is turned on using the cruise control main switch, the cruise control indicator (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode) illuminates. The hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly uses this and other indicators to indicate the control condition (presence or absence of a preceding vehicle, vehicle-to-vehicle distance, and set vehicle speed) and fail-safe state via CAN communication.

Note


  • When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.

  • Before replacing the hybrid vehicle control ECU, refer to Registration.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (METER DISPLAY 1)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (CRUISE INDICATOR)


    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise 1 / Data List.

    2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
