DYNAMIC RADAR CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM(for Mono Camera Type) Steering Pad Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

• The steering pad switch assembly outputs the cruise control power supply switch signal and each operation switch signal to the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.

• The hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly performs cruise control according to the signal from the steering pad switch assembly.

PROCEDURE

   READ VALUE USING GTS

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise 1 / Data List.

   5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

   1. Remove the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly.

   CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY - HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the G27 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.

   2. Disconnect the G93 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G27-13 (CCS) - G93-9 (CCS) Always Below 1 Ω G27-2 (ECC) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω G27-13 (CCS) or G93-9 (CCS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

   4. Connect the G93 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.

   5. Connect the G27 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.
