DESCRIPTION

Driving support ECU assembly receives the vehicle information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via CAN communication line.

If the driving support ECU assembly can not store the vehicle information, DTC U032251 is stored.

If the vehicle information stored in the driving support ECU assembly is different from that stored in the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), DTC U032257 is stored.

  • Dynamic radar control system is ON

  • Malfunction status:

  • The vehicle information sent from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) remains undefined.


  • Malfunction duration:

  • 6 seconds or more

  • Driving support ECU assembly

  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
U032257 Software Incompatibility with Body Control Module Invalid/Incompatible Software Component
  • Detection condition:

  • Dynamic radar control system is ON

  • 3 seconds or more elapsed after power switch is on (IG)


  • Malfunction status:

  • The stored value for the vehicle information in the driving support ECU assembly unmatches the received value from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).


  • Malfunction duration:

  • 4 seconds or more

  • Driving support ECU assembly

  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

  • When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one. If a device which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • When replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Service Bulletin.
