OIL LEVEL SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   INSTALL OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET

   
   

   1. Install the engine oil level sensor bracket.

2. Click here

   INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

   Note:
   

   • Be careful not to allow engine oil to contact the terminals.

   • Do not use a brakes cleaner or a solvent on a connector.

   
   

   1. Install the engine oil level sensor with the 2 nuts and attach the clamp.

      10 N*m

      102 kgf*cm

      7 ft.*lbf

   2. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil level sensor.

   3. 

      for 2WD:

      
      

      1. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor as shown in the illustration.

   4. 

      for AWD:

      
      

      1. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor as shown in the illustration.

   5. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.

   ADD ENGINE OIL

   INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

   INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL

   INSTALL STRUT BAR BRACKET SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

   INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for AWD)

   INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

    INSTALL TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER (for AWD)
