OIL LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER (for 2WD)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for 2WD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE STRUT BAR BRACKET SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER (for AWD)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for AWD)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE STRUT BAR BRACKET SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

    Click here

  11. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

    Click here

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

      for 2WD:


      1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

      2. B004WHW

        Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

      3. B004VFG

        Detach the clamp and remove the 2 nuts and engine oil level sensor.

      for AWD:


      1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

      2. B004U96

        Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

      3. B004UIY

        Detach the clamp and remove the 2 nuts and engine oil level sensor.

  14. REMOVE OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET

      for 2WD:


      1. Remove the oil level sensor bracket.

    2. B004XZ9

      for AWD:


      1. Remove the oil level sensor bracket.
