EGR VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new gasket to the EGR valve assembly.

    2. B004UDBC01
      B004SZX Bolt
      B004UK4 Nut

      Install a new gasket and the EGR valve assembly to the intake manifold and EGR cooler assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      for bolt
      26 N*m  { 265 kgf*cm, 19 ft.*lbf }
      for nut
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector to the EGR valve assembly.

  2. CONNECT NO. 15 WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 15 water by-pass hose to the EGR valve assembly, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.

  3. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS HOSE


    1. Install the water by-pass hose to the EGR valve assembly, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.

  4. CONNECT GENERATOR CABLE AND MOTOR CABLE (for LHD)


    1. Attach the clamp and connect the motor cable to the engine motor cable bracket.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps and connect the generator cable to the 2 engine motor cable brackets.

  5. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY
