The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during EGR valve assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE

    REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. Click here

    DISCONNECT GENERATOR CABLE AND MOTOR CABLE (for LHD)

      Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the generator cable from the 2 engine motor cable brackets.

    2. Detach the clamp and disconnect the motor cable from the engine motor cable bracket.

    REMOVE WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the clamp and remove the water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.

  4. Click here

    DISCONNECT NO. 15 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 15 water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.

  5. Click here

    REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:

    To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust pipe or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

      Disconnect the connector from the EGR valve assembly.

    2. B004SPI

      Remove the 2 bolt, 2 nuts and EGR valve assembly from the intake manifold and EGR cooler assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 gaskets from the intake manifold and EGR valve assembly.
