PCV VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Detach the clamp and disconnect the engine wire from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

      Detach the clip and remove the No. 1 engine cover from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

  3. DISCONNECT PCV HOSE

      Slide the clamp and disconnect the PCV hose from the PCV valve.

  4. REMOVE PCV VALVE

      Using a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), remove the PCV valve from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
