  1. MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION

This indicates that a mechanical malfunction has occurred inside the hybrid transmission.

The cause of this DTC may be one of the following.

    • Valve stuck inside transmission valve body (jamming due to foreign matter, etc.)

    • Damage inside transmission due to above valve becoming stuck

    • Oil pump motor lock (jamming due to foreign matter, etc.)

DESCRIPTION

Based on signals from the motor resolver, transmission revolution sensor (SP2) and accelerator position sensor, the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly controls the solenoid (SLT) valve using a predetermined current. As a result, the line pressure is adjusted to a pressure that is appropriate for the throttle angle and requested torque.

In addition, when the oil pump with motor assembly does not operate, line pressure is not generated. As a result, this DTC may be output.

Note:

This DTC is output based on the mechanical gear position inside the transmission. Therefore, check the "Current Calculated Gear Position" Data List item.

Tip:

If the input torque is high for all gear positions, clutch slipping may occur.

P27137F Pressure Control Solenoid "D" Actuator Stuck Off

While driving with the shift state in drive (D), manual (M) or reverse (R), the revolution speed indicated by the transmission input shaft revolutions (NT) is higher than during normal operation with respect to the rotation speed indicated by the transmission output shaft revolutions (SP2) at all gears.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN

Tip:

After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.

  1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the GTS on.

  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).

  4. Turn the power switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.

  5. Turn the power switch on (READY).

  6. With the brake pedal depressed, move the shift lever to select shift state drive (D).

  7. With the vehicle stopped, start off and drive the vehicle for a few seconds with the accelerator pedal opening angle at 30% or more (drive at a constant speed so that the value of the "Current Calculated Gear Position" Data List does not change.)

    CAUTION:

Strictly observe posted speed limits, traffic laws and road conditions when performing this test.

    Tip:

After shifting, continue to drive for a few seconds.

  8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Utility / All Readiness.

  9. Check the DTC judgment result.

    Tip:
    • If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.

    • If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.

    • If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.
