      (Transmission Wire)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Transmission Fluid Temperature Specified Condition
      D8-1 (OT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      D8-9 (OT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Tip:

      If the result is not as specified at any of the transmission fluid temperatures shown in the following table, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.

      D8-1 (OT+) - D8-9 (OT-) 10°C (50°F) 6.445 kΩ
      D8-1 (OT+) - D8-9 (OT-) 25°C (77°F) 3.5 kΩ
      D8-1 (OT+) - D8-9 (OT-) 110°C (230°F) 0.247 kΩ

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transmission wire (temperature sensor).
