FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR SYSTEM(for Stereo Camera Type) FREEZE FRAME DATA

  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Whenever a front side radar sensor system DTC is stored, the front side radar sensor stores the current vehicle state (ECU and sensor information) as Freeze Frame Data.

  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the pre-collision system on.

    5. Turn the GTS on.

    6. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Front Side Radar Master or Front Side Radar Slave / Trouble Codes.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      1. Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master > Trouble Codes


      - Front side radar sensor LH:


      1. Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Slave > Trouble Codes


    7. According to the display on the GTS, select a DTC with freeze frame data.

    8. Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      1. Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master

        ON: Shift position R

        OFF: Shift position other than R

        		 displays 0 when steering wheel not being turned
        VGRS Relative Angle Compensation value of steering angle calculated by VGRS

        Min.: -8.192 rad

        Max.: 8.191 rad

        Turning left: Increases

        Turning right: Decreases

        		 w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA

    Note:

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.


    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Turn the pre-collision system on.

    5. Turn the GTS on.

    6. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Front Side Radar Master or Front Side Radar Slave / Trouble Codes.

      - Front side radar sensor RH:


      1. Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Master > Clear DTCs


      - Front side radar sensor LH


      1. Body Electrical > Front Side Radar Slave > Clear DTCs


    7. According to the display on the GTS, select a DTC with freeze frame data.

    8. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
