DESCRIPTION

The millimeter wave radar sensor assembly performs self diagnosis to check optical axis alignment status. If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly detects misalignment, DTC C1A1100 is stored.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

  • When replacing the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a millimeter wave radar sensor assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

  • If the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly has been replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed.

    CHECK FOR DTCs (FRONT RADAR SENSOR)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      1. Body Electrical > Front Radar Sensor > Clear DTCs


    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tip:

      If the conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.
