    Tech Tips

    When removing the outer lower luggage compartment door panel, heat the luggage compartment door panel and outer lower luggage compartment door panel using a heat light.

    CAUTION:


    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

      Remove the 2 nuts.

      B004CG0 Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the outer lower luggage compartment door panel.

    3. B004BR2C01
      *a Wooden Block

      Insert piano wire between the luggage compartment door panel and outer lower luggage compartment door panel.

      Tech Tips

      Be careful of the boss and clip positions.

    4. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to the piano wire ends.

    5. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the outer lower luggage compartment door panel to the luggage compartment door panel.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the luggage compartment door panel.

    6. Remove the outer lower luggage compartment door panel.
