REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

      Inspect the rear combination light assembly LH.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition Positive (+) → 1 (TL) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Taillight illuminates Positive (+) → 2 (STP) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Stop light illuminates Positive (+) → 4 (TRN) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Turn signal light illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light assembly LH.

2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)

      Inspect the rear combination light assembly RH.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

         OK
         Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition Positive (+) → 1 (TL) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Taillight illuminates Positive (+) → 2 (STP) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Stop light illuminates Positive (+) → 4 (TRN) Negative (-) → 3 (E) Turn signal light illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light assembly RH.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Combination Light Assembly RH)

      Inspect the luggage electrical key switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 6 (UL) - 5 (E) Luggage electrical key switch off 10 kΩ or higher Luggage electrical key switch on Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, inspect the luggage electrical key switch. Click here Click here
