  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check the switch function.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (UP) - 5 (GND) UP(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher
        10 (DOWN) - 5 (GND) DOWN(MANUAL) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        2 (UP) - 5 (GND)

        4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND)

        		 UP(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        10 (DOWN) - 5 (GND)

        4 (AUTO) - 5 (GND)

        		 DOWN(AUTO) → OFF Below 1 Ω → 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.
