BLOWER UNIT REASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly gear as shown in the illustration.

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Align the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly with the standard position, attach the claw and install the gear as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Attach the claw securely.

    3. B004ADGC01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Attach the guide.

    4. Install the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

    5. for LHD:


      1. With the gears of the cover plate and No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly aligned in the standard position as shown in the illustration, attach the cover plate to the guide while moving the lever so that the point of engagement on the upper fan door lever and the point of engagement of the lower fan door lever enter the check holes.

        B004B1M Install while aligning with point of engagement - -

    6. for RHD:


      1. With the gears of the cover plate and No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly aligned in the standard position as shown in the illustration, attach the cover plate to the guide while moving the lever so that the point of engagement on the upper fan door lever and the point of engagement of the lower fan door lever enter the check holes.

      Install the cover plate with the 3 screws.

  2. INSTALL BLOWER MOTOR WITH FAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B004AZTC01
      *1 Heater Packing

      When reusing the blower motor with fan sub-assembly:


      1. Install a new heater packing to the blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

    2. B000SEI

      Install the blower motor with fan sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

  3. INSTALL SPRING NUT


    1. B000Q69

      Install the 4 spring nuts.

  4. INSTALL CLEAN AIR FILTER

      B004B1M Insert Straight

      Install the clean air filter to the cooling unit parts.

      Note

      Align with the direction of the UP mark and install.

    2. B000O0O

      Install it to the guide.

    3. B000RDZ

      Insert the cooling unit parts.

      Note

      Insert so that the UP mark arrow is pointing upwards.

  5. INSTALL AIR FILTER COVER PLATE

      B004B1M Install in this Direction (1)
      B004CNL Install in this Direction (2)

      Insert the air filter cover plate into the guide and attach the claw in the order shown in the illustration and install the air filter cover plate.

  6. INSTALL HEATER CASE PACKING


    1. Remove the heater case packing remaining in the heater case.

      *B for RHD
      *a Reference Line
      *b Wrap Portion
      B004CNL Apply in this Direction

      Remove the peeling paper on a new heater case packing trying not to touch the adhesional surface and install it to the blower assembly.

      Note


      • Attach so that there are no gaps in the entire circumference.

      • Start application from the reference line and follow the direction of the arrow.

      • Wrap and attach the heater case packing. Do not cut it.

  7. INSTALL DRAIN COOLER HOSE (Valve)

      Install the drain cooler hose (valve).
