SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the telltale light assembly indicator illuminates.

      Component without harness connected

      (Telltale Light Assembly)

      		 - -
      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive → 1 (IG+)

      Auxiliary battery negative → 8 (RLID)

      		 Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear LH Side) illuminates.

      Auxiliary battery positive → 1 (IG+)

      Auxiliary battery negative → 9 (RRID)

      		 Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear RH Side) illuminates.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the telltale light assembly.

  2. INSPECT TELLTALE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the telltale light assembly indicator illuminates.

      		 Rear seat belt indicator (for Rear RH Side) illuminates.
      If the result is not as specified, replace the telltale light assembly.
