SEAT MEMORY SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for LHD)


    1. B000RB0C01
      *a 1 Switch
      *b 2 Switch
      *c 3 Switch
      *d SET Switch
      *e

      Component without harness connected

      (Seat Memory Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 (1) - 7 (E) 1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      1 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (2) - 7 (E) 2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      2 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      5 (3) - 7 (E) 3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      3 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (MMRY) - 7 (E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      SET switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the seat memory switch illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

      		 Switch illuminates
      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

  2. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH (for RHD)

      *a 1 Switch
      *b 2 Switch
      *c 3 Switch
      *d SET Switch
      *e

      Component without harness connected

      (Seat Memory Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2 (M1) - 7 (E) 1 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      1 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (M2) - 7 (E) 2 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      2 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      5 (M3) - 7 (E) 3 switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      3 switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (MRY) - 7 (E) SET switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      SET switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.

    2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector, and check that the seat memory switch illuminates.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (ILL-)

      		 Switch illuminates
      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat memory switch.
