      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, push it in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guides and remove the seat adjuster cover cap LH.

  16. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Sports Seat Type)

        Using a SST, insert it into the gap to push it against the claw inside the seatback frame sub-assembly and pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the inside claw.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      3. Pull the headrest support in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove it.

        Note

        Remove the headrest support after first checking that the claws have been detached correctly from the headrest support hole.

      Fold back the separate type front seatback cover.

    3. Detach the fastening tape.

    4. Detach the hooks.

      • If it is not slid far enough in the removal direction (1) before being lifted up in the removal direction (2), the separate type front seatback pad may hit the front seatback frame sub-assembly and connector.

      • Do not excessively pull the separate type front seatback pad as it may become damaged.

  23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Standard Seat Type)
