DESCRIPTION

Output to the front seat cushion heater temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH)


    1. Disconnect the P56 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the v5 front seat cushion heater assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P56-18 (TSR) - v5-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      P56-18 (TSR) or v5-4 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      P56-9 (SG-6) - v5-5 Always Below 1 Ω
      P56-9 (SG-6) or v5-5 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the P56 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the v5 front seat pad with cover RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P56-18 (TSR) - v5-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      P56-18 (TSR) or v5-4 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
