The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the seat position airbag sensor removal/installation are shown below.

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      Remove the nut of the slide motor.

    2. Remove the rubber of the slide motor.

    3. Press the slide motor downwards until the "TORX" bolt of the seat slide position sensor is visible.

      Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" bolt while holding the pressed down slide motor with one hand.

    5. Slide the guide of the seat slide position sensor protector and remove the seat position airbag sensor together with the seat slide position sensor protector.

      Detach the pin and remove the seat position airbag sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
