Note
The following inspection procedures for the parking assist monitor system are based on the assumption that the navigation system is normal. If the navigation system has any malfunctions, first proceed with troubleshooting the navigation system.
Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed.
The vehicle is equipped with a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) which includes components such as airbags. Before servicing (including removal or installation of parts), be sure to read the precaution for Supplemental Restraint System.
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
The following malfunctions may occur if a radio receiver assembly from another vehicle is installed to this vehicle. Therefore, when replacing the radio receiver assembly, be sure to replace it with new one.
