BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

While the auxiliary battery is connected, even if the power switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or any door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore, when servicing the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal or open/close the doors while the auxiliary battery is connected.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY WITH BRACKET ASSEMBLY

      Install the brake control power supply with bracket assembly to the vehicle body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
    2. Connect the connector to the brake control power supply with bracket assembly.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU BRACKET

      Install the fuel pump control ECU bracket to the vehicle body with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Attach the clamp.

      Connect the 2 fuel pump control ECU connectors.

    4. Connect the brake control power supply connector.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD BRACKET LH


    1. B004CMM

      Install the No. 1 deck board bracket LH with the bolt and nut.

      Torque:
      15.75 N*m  { 161 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }
  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  6. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
