SHIFT LEVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. REMOVE SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR

    Tech Tips

    There is no need to remove this unless the shift position indicator is replaced.


    1. B000TG0C01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Remove the 4 screws and shift position indicator from the shifting hole cover.

  3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE SUPPORT BRACKET

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      for LHD:

      Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the upper No. 1 console support bracket.

    2. for RHD:

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp from the upper No. 1 console support bracket.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts and upper No. 1 console support bracket from the body.

  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the transmission floor shift assembly connector.

    2. B000O8CC01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Remove the 4 bolts and transmission floor shift assembly from the body.
