      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Transmission Fluid Temperature Specified Condition
      1 (OT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      9 (OT-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Tech Tips

      If the result is not as specified at any of the transmission fluid temperatures shown in the following table, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.

      Tester Connection Transmission Fluid Temperature Specified Condition
      1 (OT+) - 9 (OT-) 10°C (50°F) 6.445 kΩ
      1 (OT+) - 9 (OT-) 25°C (77°F) 3.5 kΩ
      1 (OT+) - 9 (OT-) 110°C (230°F) 0.247 kΩ

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transmission wire (temperature sensor).
