THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

   2. Install the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly to the engine water pump assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

2. CONNECT WATER HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the water hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.

3. INSTALL WATER INLET CAP (w/o Oil Cooler)

   
   

   1. Install the water inlet cap to the water inlet with thermostat, and slide the clip to secure the cap.

4. CONNECT NO. 7 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (w/ Oil Cooler)

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 7 water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.

5. CONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (w/ Oil Cooler)

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose to the water outlet sub-assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.

6. CONNECT NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE

7. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

   Click here

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

   Click here

9. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

   Click here

10. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

11. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

12. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

    Click here

13. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REINFORCEMENT

    Click here

14. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

15. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

16. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH

17. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
