THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH

    Click here

  3. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER REINFORCEMENT

    Click here

  7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSSMEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

    Click here

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

  13. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (w/ Oil Cooler)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the water outlet sub-assembly.

  14. DISCONNECT NO. 7 WATER BY-PASS HOSE (w/ Oil Cooler)

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 7 water by-pass hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE WATER INLET CAP (w/o Oil Cooler)

    1. Slide the clip and remove the water inlet cap from the water inlet with thermostat.

  16. DISCONNECT WATER HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the water hose from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000PUX

      Remove the 2 bolts, nut and water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly from the engine water pump assembly.

    2. Remove the gasket from the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
