  1. REMOVE NO. 4 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  2. INSPECT NO. 4 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect EV mode switch

        Component without harness connected

        (No. 4 Combination Switch Assembly ( EV Mode Switch))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        6 (S) - 5 (E) EV mode switch being pushed and held Below 1 Ω
        EV mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 4 combination switch assembly.

    2. Inspect illumination

        Component without harness connected

        (No. 4 Combination Switch Assembly ( EV Mode Switch))
        *b No. 4 Combination Switch Assembly ( EV Mode Switch) Illumination

        Apply auxiliary battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the pattern select switch assembly.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary Battery positive (+) → 7 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary Battery negative (-) → 10 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 4 combination switch assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 4 COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
