PROCEDURE
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH
REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR
DRAIN ENGINE OIL
REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

Using SST to hold the crankshaft pulley, loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt. Further loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt until 2 or 3 threads remain screwed into the crankshaft.

Using SST, remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and crankshaft pulley.
REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING GEAR KEY
Remove the crankshaft timing gear key of the key groove.
REMOVE TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

Using a screwdriver with its tip taped, pry out the timing chain case oil seal.
Note
After the removal, check the crankshaft for damage. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
