FRONT WIPER RUBBER INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER LH


    1. B000TC7

      Install the 2 front wiper rubber backing plates to the wiper rubber LH as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Align the protrusions on the wiper rubber RH and the notches of the front wiper rubber backing plates.

    2. B000T86

      Install the wiper rubber LH together with the 2 front wiper rubber backing plates to the front wiper blade LH.

      Note


      • Install the wiper rubber LH so that the head part (the wide side) faces the arm axis direction.


      • Push the front wiper blade RH to the groove of the wiper rubber RH end to attach it completely.

  2. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE LH


    1. Install the front wiper blade LH to the front wiper arm LH as shown in the illustration.

      *a Holder - -

    2. Lock the front wiper blade RH holder.

  3. RETURN NORMAL POSITION


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Operate the wiper switch to the MIST direction.

      Note


      • Check that the front wiper arm LH is not in the locked back position.

      • If the front wiper arm LH is operated while left in the locked back position, the vehicle may be damaged.
