PROCEDURE

  1. TRANSITIONAL SERVICE POSITION

    Tech Tips

A full-concealed wiper is used for the front wiper. As a result, it is necessary to first move the front wiper arm to the service position before performing front wiper blade replacement.

    1. With the power switch on (IG), turn the power switch off.

    2. Within 45 seconds of turning the power switch off, operate and hold the windshield wiper switch assembly MIST function for 2 seconds.

    3. Check that the front wiper stops in the upper reverse position.

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE LH

    1. Flip up the front wiper blade LH holder and remove the front wiper blade LH as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      • Make sure to hold the front wiper arm LH when locking it back.

      • If only the front wiper blade LH is lifted up, the front wiper blade may be deformed.

      • Slip a cloth between the windshield glass and the front wiper arm LH in order not to damage the windshield glass.
