SPARK PLUG REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during ignition coil and spark plug removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL RH

  3. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR AIR DEFLECTOR

    Click here

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO CROSS MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 PCV HOSE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

  7. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE SPARK PLUG


    1. Remove the 6 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.
