If the rear steering link assembly or the rear suspension is removed and installed, replaced, or adjusted, after performing actuator calibration value initialization, perform neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM)


    1. Check for DTCs in the variable gear ratio steering system.

  3. CHECK TIRE SIZE


    1. Check all the tires.

  4. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS


    1. Check if a rear wheel alignment adjustment has been performed in the past. Also, if an adjustment has been performed, check if neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration was performed at that time.

  5. PERFORM ACTUATOR FORCED ACTIVATION


    1. Perform actuator forced activation to forcibly return the actuator to the neutral position.
