DYNAMIC REAR STEERING SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1B21/31, C1B22/32, C1B23/33, C1B25/35

DTC Code DTC Name
C1B21/31 ECU Malfunction(CPU)
C1B22/32 ECU Malfunction(Internal Line)
C1B23/33 ECU Malfunction(Substrate Temperature Sensor)
C1B25/35 ECU Malfunction(Flash Memory)

DESCRIPTION

When the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) detects an internal problem with the ECU, DTCs are stored.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area Warning Indicate Return-to-normal Condition
C1B21/31 ECU Malfunction(CPU) After the power switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) Comes on Power switch on (IG) again
C1B22/32 ECU Malfunction(Internal Line) After the power switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) Comes on Power switch on (IG) again
C1B23/33 ECU Malfunction(Substrate Temperature Sensor) After the power switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) - Power switch on (IG) again
C1B25/35 ECU Malfunction(Flash Memory) After the power switch is turned on (IG), an internal problem with the ECU is detected. DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU) Comes on Power switch on (IG) again

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • When replacing the DRS ECU (rear steering control ECU), perform neutral position memorization and motor rotation angle sensor calibration.

  • Since DTC C15C9/76 is stored in the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU), after performing repairs on the dynamic rear steering system, clear the DTCs for the VGRS system. (When DTC C1B23/33 is output, the VGRS ECU [front steering control ECU] does not store DTC C15C9/76).

PROCEDURE
